Cardiff Made have a Spring show titled Resilience, prompting a consideration of what this may mean in the natural world. The show opens tomorrow evening-Friday 5th May 6.30-8.30pm and continues until 4th June.
I am delighted to have two oil pastel paintings with collaged elements in the show. This came about in a playful process of reusing ‘failed’ paintings and waste cardboard, along with some sumptuously coloured Sennelier pastels.
My paintings are named Magnolia and Their Gentle Presence, both inspired by trees and their unique colouration and qualities at Spring time.
