My drawing Carn Llidi Remembered is at Cardiff MADE’s Winter Wall exhibition. This is a black ink drawing made in a process that I love; using wax for the underdrawing creates the element of surprise in my mark making when the ink is then applied. Coloured oil pastels also create a strong contrast in this atmospheric work, inspired by Carn Llidi in West Wales.
The Winter Wall and Market is open now until Christmas Eve at Cardiff MADE Tuesday – Sunday 10-5pm. Thirty Wales based artists and makers are featured with exclusive artist prints, ceramics, knitwear, clothing, jewellery available to buy.
